According to the national health statistics in New Zealand one in four adults over the age of 15 and up are obese and 44.7 percentage of Māori adults were obese. Former Warriors player and TV celebrity Wairangi Koopu is trying to change these statistics by running various a fitness programmes coupled with good nutritional advice. Wairangi Koopu believes the key to better health is a balance of good eating and regular exercise.
